Overview

The City of Pleasant Valley owns and manages its own sewer lines.  The City pays Kansas City for treatment of wastewater.  The Clay County Public Water District #2 is contracted to do the billing and collection for the City’s sewer service.  The City Council sets sewer rates adequate to pay for the maintenance, repair, replacement and administration of the City’s sewer service.
