Overview

Pleasant Valley has 2 parks and 2 picnic shelters. The two shelters are located in the Hanson Park behind City Hall at 6500 Royal Street; Valley Park is located along south Sobbie and has a concrete walking trail with benches. City park hours are from 6 a.m. - 10 p.m. seven days a week. 

  • Reservations: Reservations can be made by calling City Hall at (816) 781-3996. Reservation forms will be mailed to you and must be returned promptly with the reservation fee. You may also come into City Hall to reserve a shelter.
  • Cost: Residents may reserve a shelter at no cost while non-resident will have to pay a fee of $25.00.
