The 7th Judicial Circuit Court of Missouri, Pleasant Valley Municipal Division is an extension and qualified division of the Circuit Court of Clay County. The Municipal Court adjudicates traffic and other ordinance violations filed by the Pleasant Valley Police Department, Animal Control and Code Enforcement Officers.
Pleasant Valley Municipal Court’s mission is to treat the citizens who appear in a timely, courteous and professional manner and assure them of a fair and impartial disposition of their case(s).
One continuance per defendant may be granted without a Court appearance. No continuances will be granted on traffic accident cases. To receive a continuance you must contact the Court. This Court does NOT allow phones, cameras or recording devices in the Courtroom.

A subpoena is a legal order to appear in Court at a specific date and time. Subpoenas are only issued when a defendant pleads not guilty and wishes to have a trial. The Court may issue subpoenas to complainants, witnesses, and victims at least 30 days before the defendant’s Court date.
