Pleasant Valley Board of Aldermen
Special Board Meeting
May 6, 2009
The special board meeting of the Pleasant Valley Board of Aldermen was called to order on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. by Mayor David Slater.
Mayor Slater notes that this will be an abbreviated meeting to only address bill payments and a hiring action due to Alderwoman Mast’s scheduling conflict.
Present were: Ammon, Maroon, Donnini, Bolinger and Mast. Also present was Captain Jerry Elder.
Mast moved, second by Ammon to take the agenda out of order and proceed to police department hiring. Yeas: Donnini, Maroon, Bolinger, Mast and Ammon. Motion passed.
After discussion, Donnini moved, second by Maroon to hire Christopher Wilson as a full-time police officer at the rate of $13.50 per hour effective May 8, 2009. Yeas: Mast, Bolinger, Ammon, Donnini and Maroon. Motion passed.
Donnini moved, second by Bolinger to approve items on the consent agenda less the invoice from MARC in the amount of $16,589.75. Yeas: Maroon, Ammon, Donnini and Bolinger. Mast abstains. Motion passed.
Donnini moved, second by Mast to adjourn. Yeas: Bolinger, Ammon, Maroon, Donnini and Mast. Motion passed.
