PUBLIC HEARING OVERVIEW

The public hearing of Pleasant Valley Board of Aldermen was opened by Alderwoman Mast on Monday, April 20, 2009 at 6:01 p.m.
Aldermen present were: Alderwomen Jurado, Mast and Bolinger. Also present was: Mayor Elect David Slater
Information on the anticipated rate increase from the City of Kansas City, Missouri on sewer charges reflects as follows:
Current Rate: Residential Rate: $18.83 for the first 6500 gallons
$ 4.49 per 1000 gallon above 6500 gallons
Commercial Rate: $5.91 per 1000 gallons used.
Proposed Rate: Residential Rate: $21.90 for the first 6500 gallons
$4.89 per 1000 gallon above 6500 gallons
Commercial Rate: $8.60 per 1000 gallons used
With no other comment from board members and no members of the public present, Alderwoman Mast closed the hearing at 6:15 p.m.
